Join a progressive multi-disciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, podiatrists, and orthopedic spine surgeons to provide primary care sports medicine at Logan Regional Orthopedics, the official medical provider of the Utah State Aggies. Collaborate with the head team physician in providing effective primary care medical services to 400-plus student athletes in sixteen Division I intercollegiate sports programs: footballmen's and women's basketball, volleyball, softball, women's soccer, track and field, golf, tennis, cross country, and gymnastics.  In addition to working with USU athletes, candidate will deliver primary care sports medicine services (including an emphasis on concussion treatment) to area high schools and the community at large through Logan Regional Orthopedics, part of the Intermountain Medical Group.

Practice Information

  • Intermountain Healthcare needs a board certified/eligible, fellowship-trained Primary Care Sports Medicine physician to join Logan Regional Orthopedics, the official medical provider of the Utah State Aggies in Logan, Utah. Minimum of one year of experience in primary care sports medicine at the collegiate level preferred.
  • Position consists of approximately 0.8 FTE time practicing at Logan Regional Orthopedics, a multi-disciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, podiatrists, and orthopedic spine surgeons, and 0.2 FTE working with Utah State University athletes
  • Position may include occasional travel to USU Aggie sporting events in other locations
  • Physician will have ready access to diagnostic equipment in both locations and dedicated support staff including medical assistants, athletic trainers, and physical therapists
  • Employment position under the Intermountain Medical Group, with a large referral base of primary care physicians in Logan and surrounding communities
